If you could spend one year in perfect happiness but afterward remember nothing of the experience, would you do so? Why or why not?
I love happiness, but I would say no, because I like to remember having a good time. I want to remember spending good times with my husband and dog, my family, and any adventures that we might go on. Our happiness (and other emotions) are shaped around our memories and experiences and I don’t want to not be able to remember any of that. That’s just weird to me. I’m sure people are thinking about Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless mind here and I’m sure some people would go for it, but I’m not sure if I could.
