I found this book tag over at the Stephen Writes blog and you can find his blog post about it here. It looked like a fun and quick thing, so I hope you participate as well!

Finger Sandwiches: A Book You Savored Every Minute of

This is hard because there was a few over the years that I savored. I’ll pick Me Before You by JoJo Moyes for this book. I delighted in this book and even though it has a sad ending, I felt comfortable and cozy while reading this book.

Scones: A Book Everyone Should Own

Tuesdays With Morrie by Mitch Albom. That book makes you think about life a lot.

Biscuits: A Book That Can Be Finished in One Sitting

I’d say Date & Time by Phil Kaye. It’s a book of poetry by a spoken word poet and the poetry is amazing. If you google him, you’ll find some of his poems that he presents at different venues and his voice is so comforting. That’s why I bought his book when it was released.

Patisserie: A Book that is Light and Easy to Read

I read a few Virgin River books by Robyn Carr. If you need something that doesn’t require too much thought, those were good picks. If romance isn’t your thing, Serafina series by Robert Beatty was amazing.

Showstopper: A Book That Blew You Away

Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens. I don’t think I would have read it normally, but everyone was reading it and got picked by Reese Witherspoon’s book club and I read it within a week. A definite good read.

Tea: A Heartwarming Classic

To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee is an obvious choice. The Wizard of Oz and a few others come to mind. It’s hard to tell–just depends on what kind of classics you’re into.
