TV
We didn’t really watch a lot of television shows on tv while it was airing. We watched a little bit of America’s Got Talent but we didn’t like any of the talents that made it to the finals. I generally don’t like talent shows anymore because of this. I watched a little bit of Who Do You Think You Are and Family Feud but it wasn’t enough to keep me interested.
Streaming Services
We’ve been watching Running Wild With Bear Grylls: The Challenge on Disney+. This and another show he does takes celebrity/famous people and does a short stint in the wild to get a taste of surviving on their own. He always asks them about how they got into the field they did and it’s definitely interesting sometimes. She Hulk: Attorney at Law debuted on Disney+ and we watched the first episode. We were laughing because she could control her anger within a few days but Bruce Banner took 15 years to control his anger.
On Discovery + I finished up a mini series on Hillsong Church — I didn’t realize they had so many internal problems with abuse and money guzzling. Churches ruin it for everybody; no wonder people are so frustrated with us. I also found a show about Princess Diana, I guess all the people who investigated her death are coming out finally and talking about what they found about her death. Diana will always be popular and someone will always be running a show about her. I don’t know how much more you could talk about her but here we are over 20 years later still talking about her. I’ve gone off of watching Sister Wives for a while but finished watching an episode of The Dead Files that I started.
Movies
I don’t think we really watched any movies. I started watching Father of the Bride, but haven’t gotten back to it. Kimberley Williams is so young in this movie. I only know her because she’s married to Brad Paisley the country music singer and in his interviews he always said he watched Father of the Bride when he was 19/20 and had the biggest crush on Kimberley and now he’s married to her.
I can’t remember if we watched anything else. I think we watched Groundhog Day but I fell asleep.
Books
I finished reading Memphis by Tara M. Stringfellow and All Your Perfects by Colleen Hoover. Neither one was good. The Perfects book started out promising then it just fizzled out and ended. It was kind strange how she neatly tied everything up. I also finished reading A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas and started the second book (which I haven’t finished yet.) It’s an interesting series, though no my usual read.
