Question of the Week #11

You are given the power to kill people simply by thinking of their deaths and twice repeating the word “goodbye.” People would die a natural death and no one would suspect you. Are there any situations in which you would use this power?

No. That is too much power for me. I don’t want the power to be able to decide whether someone should die or not just because I can or want to regardless of the reason. Can you imagine if someone got annoyed and killed someone just because they randomly got annoyed for one second? They’d instantly regret it! This is a dumb question. “Many people that live deserve death and some that die deserve life. Can you give it to them? Then do not be so eager to deal out death in judgment, for even the wise cannot see all ends.”

*The question of the week came from the Book of Questions by Gregory Stock, Ph.D.
