Who is your favorite author and why?
I haven’t really read one author exclusively for a long time. I suppose my favorite author would be Phillipa Gregory as I’ve read a lot of her books and will pretty much buy any of her books if I see one I don’t own yet. She’s a historian but writes fictionalized accounts of women related to the royal families in history.
Her most famous books would be The Other Boleyn Girl and The White Queen. The first one is about Anne Boleyn’s sister Mary and Henry VIII and the whole period told through Mary’s eyes. The White Queen series is about the War of the Roses and the women from each of the families during the war. I want to read more but as always I get distracted by other books. Someday.
